Jenny Bicāt
Jenny's
first degree was Fine Art Painting. Later she
completed a MA
in Fashion/Textiles with distinction at DeMonfort University.
Her extensive research into sometimes forgotten
techniques led her to setting up her own workshop in the Cotswolds.
There she individually paints and prints multi colour designs on to fine
fabrics which she then makes up into garments and accessories. She
uses temporary stencils so that she can print a wide range of patterns
with a small number of screens.
Jenny Bicāt's work is
sold in selected fashion outlets and art galleries and she exhibits
regularly with the Gloucestershire Guild of Craftsmen.
