Liz Lippiatt
With a degree in Fashion Liz quickly moved into textiles and production of fashion accessories for an International market.
She is a designer, silkscreen printer and dyer of silks, velvets and linens, specializing in devore silk velvet, and has developed a 'rubbery' printing technique popular for brightly coloured bags.
With her knowledge of the fashion business Liz has an advantage when working on fine crafted cloth for the couture business as well as for the theatre.
Liz works from a well-equipped studio at Stroud Valleys Artspace, a lively centre for working artists.
With six textile artists of diverse disciplines, she formed Studio Seven, a very active group intent on pioneering new work in collaboration with dance, theatre and music.
Liz has been a member, and regular exhibitor with the Gloucestershire Guild of Craftsmen since 1980.
Liz's work is designed, printed and hand finished in her studios in Gloucestershire combining exciting design with high quality traditional craftsmanship.
